Job Description
The responsibilities of the Waiter/Waitress include welcoming guests to the restaurant, providing excellent service, taking orders, and contributing to delivering the unique experience of GATSBY ATHENS to the customer. To be suitable for this position, you should have previous customer service experience, a good knowledge of the restaurant’s products, and additional knowledge about wine.
Requirements
- Handling customer transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Collecting payments in cash or credit cards
- Excellent communication skills
- Managing pressure in real-time
- Work experience as a waiter or assistant waiter
- English language proficiency (essential requirement)
- Smile and courtesy
- Team spirit
- Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems
